Dear Parents,

A big thank you for having sent all the things requested at the beginning of this term. The children have started the new year full of interest and energy and are enthusiastically learning new concepts, vocabulary and songs. We have also been observing the weather, talking about winter and trying to imagine what snow must be like. We hope to create a snowy day in class on Thursday,2nd February and invite you to join us at 14.00 for the Perky Penguins Party. Please send gloves and scarf that day and ensure that all items are marked with your childs name. Please remember to park your car in an area which will not inhibit the arrival of the buses. We all look forward to seeing you!

Carnival is on its way and we invite you to see the Preschool Carnival Parade on Friday,12th February at 9.00 a.m. Please send (or bring) your child to school dressed in a costume that is both comfortable and safe. After the parade the children will continue to do carnival related activities during the day and will have a special snack. Please send something suitable for your child to share with a friend!!

14th February, St. Valentines Day is also a special time in Nursery, we remember those who love us and prepare Valentine cards for those special people. We talk about the mailmen and their work in collecting the cards and delivering them to our homes. Hopefully a card should be arriving around that time at your home, please let your child see how it got to you!
