Mathematics is seen as an opportunity to develop a growing English vocabulary. Students are encouraged to display the self motivation necessary for the rigors of incisive critical thinking. Mathematical processes are related to everyday applications where possible and learning is related to individual ability and stage of development. As students approach the tenth grade they are prepared specifically for the Selectividad - the entrance exam for Spanish University or alternatively for the American Diploma.
