Enjoy a soccer and English experience at our ASLP Summer Soccer Camp The qualified trainers guarantee both the well-being of the students, as well as learning English as a part of the game.

The specific daily work of teaching soccer is made up of four major curricular areas. These are arranged throughout the facilities in fixed areas through which the age groups rotate in daily sessions.

In addition to receiving all the training in English, the students will have one hour of daily English lessons that will be dynamic, fun and focused on sports and the theme of this year’s Summer Camp: Wonderland.

The work in these areas is carried out by designated teaching staff. The curriculum is adapted to the different age ranges.

The specific work areas of the ASLP Soccer Summer Camp are:

  • Individual Technique Area
  • Collective Tactic Area
  • Psychomotricity Area
  • Competition Area

OBJECTIVES OF THE SOCCER SUMMER CAMP


These are the general sports objectives for the Soccer Summer Camp:

  • To develop the values that promote the practice of soccer, improvement, perseverance, equality, respect, sportsmanship, solidarity and camaraderie, personal and collective success.
  • A playful experience through the practice of soccer assimilating some of the main technical and tactical content required.

5-7 years: At this stage, it is essential to develop psychomotor coordination, using the game as a central engine in training sessions and applying exercises where varied abilities and skills play an important role.

Improve general coordination skills based on the abilities and skills that the child already possesses, learning based on cooperation and opposition games, running, jumps, receptions, balances, turns, throws and combinations thereof and initiate the basic specific coordination skills of soccer

Execution of games, in groups or small groups, where the cooperation and participation of all members is needed with and without an opponent, with superiority, inferiority and numerical equality, with and without the ball.
Practice of different games and exercises to improve eye-foot-ball and eye-hand-ball coordination.

8-11 years: We emphasize giving continuity to the development of specific coordination skills within a specific content: the individual technique with the ball, providing new and varied technical elements than in the previous stage, in this one still maintaining the exercises in a global way, we will introduce or give more specific weight to the types of driving, the types of passes, the shots on goal and adding combined exercises of all.

Reduced matches with the ball and with limitation of the field, execution of real game situations: 1×1, 2×2 and 3×3. Exercises and training systems according to age to work on conditional abilities: strength, resistance, speed and flexibility.

12-14 years: This is a stage where the practice cycle ends, it is focused on training and technical skills. At this stage, the individual technique with the ball is the focus of the training sessions.

Circuits are aimed at improving soccer-specific coordination skills for learning and improving conditional skills. Drills learned include the following: feints, dribbles, headers, etc. and combinations of these are aimed at spacetime perceptual work. Exercises to improve teamwork include: pass and receive (wall), support and break unchecks, splits and finally specific individual defense work.

EXCURSIONS

Every Friday the Summer Soccer Camp students will join the Wonderland Summer Camp students on the excursions scheduled by age.

ENGLISH

SCHEDULE:
Monday to Friday from 08:30 a.m. to 03:30 p.m.
El The early reception service will be carried out from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. with an extra cost of 10€ per week.

ENGLISH CLASSES:
The students will also have a daily English class which will be taught with fun activities and focused on sports.

LUNCH:
Includes a mid-morning healthy snack and lunch.
